ADHESIVES and SEALANTS
Room temperature vulcanizing silicone sealant adheres to virtually any surface, including metal, glass, wood, rubber, ceramic, plastic, paint. It is used for fastening, insulating, caulking, weatherproofing, gasketing, bonding, and sealing.
It cures at room temperature. Surface cure occurs in 1 hour, and full cure occurs in 24 hours. It seals against water, air, chemical, oil, and grease. It provides excellent weatherability and extreme flexibility and will not crack or harden. Standard cure is not for use on or near engine sensors. It is a one part silicone that requires no mixing and produces no waste.
Room temperature vulcanizing make a gasket silicone sealant is used on exhaust manifolds, flanges, axle covers, oil pans, water pumps, thermostat covers, intake manifolds, timing gear covers, thermostat housings, and as a body seam sealer.
